In 1989 it moved from its clever premises to one of Mansfield’s best locations, a Federation period double brick home opposite the sports ground and Council buildings, half way between the main street and the hospital. It has grown through two major renovations and the addition of a complete new wing, and now employs fifteen staff. Accreditation is a process which acknowledges that our surgery has met these set of standards. It shows that we are committed to safe, tall quality health care. Visiting an Australian Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) accredited practice means that we, as an accredited practice, have met medical and industry standards. Here at Central General Practice, our Doctors are all vocationally registered and actively involved in continuing medical education and community activities. Our nursing and reception staff all take routine professional development training. Will has a notable interest in Men’s Health and pediatrics as well as providing supervisory obstetric concern (including Cesarean section). Originating from California and a preceding elite athlete, Emily has a potent interest in sports medicine as healthy as obstetrics (including cesareans) and gynecology, pediatrics, and general medicine. He has a particular interest in skin surgery, general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics inc. Caesarean section, travel medicine, community health cycling. Daniel has a special interest in Women’s Health and pediatrics. He is qualified in anesthetics and has notable interest in Emergency, Sports and General Medicine. Ben is a father of two girls and a keen Hawthorn supporter. Marian has exceptional interest in women and children’s health and peaceful procedures. Her recent experience at Northeast Health Wangaratta and Al bury Base focused on her special interest areas of general medicine, minor skin surgery, and emergency and critical protection medicine. He speaks several languages and has exceptional interests in general medicine, emergency medicine and psychiatry. Mansfield is one of the most vibrant little communities in Victoria. The Mansfield District prides itself as the home of a community which welcomes newcomers and visitors, and it has very active arts and sporting communities. Mansfield Secondary College, is a small, rural Victorian school, close to Mt Butler and the snow fields, which offers a wide range of education and training programs to support our students as they transition into adulthood.
